Best time-saving beauty products

Time: we waste it, spend it, crave it and wish it away in equal measure. I never seem to have enough of it. It’s one of the big reasons I have just had my long hair cut into a bob. I reckon I’ve saved myself about two hours a week in washing and styling time alone.

I’m always on the look-out for time saving beauty tips.

This is something I have in common with Blow – a brand on a mission to make beauty fast and accessible. They have kindly provided me with a fantastic discount for Lifestyle Maven readers, see the bottom of this post.

Blow has beauty bars in Canary Wharf and Covent Garden where you can pop in for a blow-dry, nail polish or makeup in 30 minutes or less.

If like me, you’ve ever had one of those mornings when you couldn’t be bothered to wash your hair and then regretted it later, this is for you. They’re open from 7am until late. You can also book treatments at home – great for evenings in with the girls.

The website is a one stop shop for time saving beauty products at affordable prices. Their bestselling brands include Anastasia Beverly Hills, Laura Mercier and KOSE skincare.

I’ve picked a few of my favourite time saving beauty products for you here:

Laura Mercier Undercover Pot, £29

Time: we waste it, spend it, crave it & wish it away in equal measure. It’s small but perfectly formed and combines two concealers – one with a peachy tint for lightening dark circles under the eyes, and another for covering up those pesky blemishes.

Then unscrew the top and there’s a little pot of translucent setting powder. This is the best translucent powder I’ve used. It just disappears leaving a flawless, shine-free finish.

RMS Beauty Eye Polish, £19

My favourite colour is the Solar gold. With this eye polish, you can instantly go from daytime to evening makeup with an easy sweep of colour. I just use my finger to blend in the colour for a glossy look.

Stila Stay All Day Liquid Liner, £13

This is such a great value liquid eyeliner. You can create a very fine and precise line with the thin marker-pen type tip, which glides on smoothly. It really does stay put all day.

Arbonne Makeup Primer, £26

Time: we waste it, spend it, crave it & wish it away in equal measure. If like me, you never have enough time, check out these time saving beauty products.

This one isn’t available on Blow’s website but I have to include it in a roundup of quick makeup fix products.

I use this primer under my foundation every day and it prevents sliding and the colours fading. But it’s great to use before an evening out – on top of your day’s makeup. Just apply it liberally and watch the shine disappear.

It provides a perfect canvass for a quick reapplication of blusher and eye colour. Available on Arbonne’s website here.
