Earlier this week the lovely people at Sheridan invited me to have a look at their new Spring/Summer 2015 collection – Postcards from Australia. What nicer way to spend a morning than in denial of the cold weather outside, immersing myself in luxurious fabrics, gorgeous scents and comforting loungewear.
Sheridan is Australia’s leading home and lifestyle brand – think the Oz equivalent of Anthropologie – with a flagship store on the King’s Road in Chelsea, outlets in several department stores and plans to open more as the brand’s reputation grows.
This is a luxury lifestyle brand, incorporating bed and bath linen, table linen, loungewear, a range for baby’s room, skincare and room scents.
The bed linen range is vast, with colours and patterns for every taste and the fabrics are of the finest quality cotton and sateen. The hand painted designs range from traditional to vibrant, with what I thought were some Aboriginal influences.
The Loungewear was created for those lazy Sundays or for lounging around in bed, but I would wear them out and about. Lovely heavy cotton granddad shirts and woollen jumpers which hang just so.
The scent collection is a range of bath, body and home fragrances featuring six different scents. My favourite was the garden inspired range which was fresh smelling without being overpowering. I’m looking forward to reviewing them in more detail soon.
